In an aim to help preserve the Keys’ flora and fauna for future generations to enjoy, the vast majority of our activities involve giving something back to the ecosystems we visit.
Staff Experience & Expertise
From U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captains and P.A.D.I. S.C.U.B.A. instructors to marine biologists and experiential education professionals, our diverse backgrounds and over 15 years of combined experience helps us provide you with an experience that is fun, safe and memorable. And since every eco-adventure is led by a science professional, each tour is educational as well.

No Experience Necessary
We have activities for every age, ability and experience level. With most activities, no previous experience is even required. However, if you’re an experienced diver, we offer new certification opportunities. We only ask that you come with an open mind, a desire to try new things and be ready to have your horizons expanded.

If you’ve visited the Florida Keys before, you may already know that Key Largo is a premiere destination for diving, snorkeling and watersports. EcoKeys can provide you the opportunity to do all three as well as visit a variety of incredible places off the beaten path that most tourists never see.
Safety First
From pre-launch tutorials all the way through the conclusion of each activity, safety is a top priority. We are proud of our complete approach to safety and our excellent safety record. All EcoKeys team members are, at a minimum, certified lifeguards, oxygen providers and CPR/First Aid administrators. This safety conscious experience is something we leverage to keep all our guests safe.
Certifications Offered
Our EcoKeys team is comprised of active P.A.D.I. Divemasters and S.C.U.B.A. instructors. As such, we offer eco-related dive training programs from Advanced Open Water to Project AWARE specialist. We can also arrange as many dives contributing to an advancement in P.A.D.I. certifications or diver levels for the Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF). Certifications indicating conservation experience and knowledge in the area of subtropical ecology are also provided for our non-S.C.U.B.A. activities.
